This Is Informative, You Should Watch It of the Day: Brave breast-cancer survivor Linda Burger, 56, has a few choice words for certain people who seem to think politics should be allowed to dictate policy when it comes to the life-saving detection and treatment of breast cancer.

This video contains very frank language and courageously graphic footage of a body that’s undergone a bilateral mastectomy, but it is highly recommended viewing for anyone who wishes to learn from a well-informed source what breast cancer is, and — perhaps more importantly — what it is not.

[c&l.]

You showed your ass! Now you can kiss mine!

TELL IT LOUD, LINDA! This woman knows what’s up.

You guys, this video is straight up telling it like it is.

Cancer is not a pink hat or a shirt that says “save the tatas!!!”

Cancer is exactly the way this woman is describing it and Susan G.Komen should be ASHAMED of what they tried to do to Planned Parenthood. The overwhelming outpouring of support that Planned Parenthood received after momentarily losing its funding was extremely inspiring. I hope the Susan G. Komen Foundation learned  a lot from this whole experience.

Cancer (whether it be breast, colon, pancreatic, prostate, etc. etc. etc.) and the treatment available to those who have it should not be something that is open to political debate. Just because a person gets a cancer screening at a place that performs abortions doesn’t mean their life is any less worth saving or that they don’t deserve to have their cancer detected as soon as possible.
